These specifications are for a Whirlwind 212 Upcut Saw

  • 18" blade capacity

  • Approx. 45-50 cutting cycles per minute maximum

Miter and Notching saws for wood, aluminum, plastics and fiberglass 


Add a Sawgear or Tigerstop to this setup for ultimate accuracy, safety and productivity.


Staggered saw models can be used for either conventional double mitering, but more often are sought out for their notching ability.  


This unique design feature allows the machine to be utilized for two different applications expanding its usefulness and providing a quicker payback. 


Some machines have vertical clamping.

This Leaves hands free to hold the material. 


Easy to regulate the cutting speed.  

The saw blades extend beyond the fence line when cycling, cutting completely through the material. 


The counterbalanced saw heads return automatically.

5/8" diameter belt driven saw arbors


Staggered blade movement for notching - only approx. 7" of travel is necessary to complete the stroke of the saw blades.


Can be set up for mitering as needed also.  


Mitering capacity is: 4" x 2 5/8"
